Eramus Public Speaking Academy
We all have arguments we wish to win, in fact, it is an essential part of any job that requires collaboration.
Be part of the first Debating & Persuasive Speaking cohort at LifeVersity!
The Erasmus Debating Society has been helping students find their voice since 1989. Now, in association with LifeVersity, we bring you this new 8-week course that  will show you that debating is fun and an accessible way to become a pro-persuader.

IN THIS COURSE, YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:

Come up with arguments quickly

Be able to spot flaws in your opponents argument

Construct arguments your audience can easily understand

Display a familiarity with the formal rules of debating

Statistics show that that debate students excel 25% more than their peers in written and oral communication.

Debating offers a platform to learn persuasive speaking as an entertaining game.

Within the course you will debate in teams against your course mates. Every week we will focus on your development through practice debates that will grow your skill and confidence.

At the end of the course you will  be ready to participate in your own mini debating tournament.
