Here's what you will cover in this course

In this 6-week course you will discover the transformative power of mindfulness, it will help you to be fully present, alive in the moment and discover different meditation techniques. Join us on a journey to a happier you!

Week 1: Getting started with MBSR and Body Scan

We will sWe will begin with an introduction to what mindfulness is, its effectiveness, and how it works. This session will also include our first meditation.

Week 2: Attention & the Brain - Introduction to Sitting Meditation

Gain insights into the workings of the brain to understand how meditation transforms brain structures. We will also engage in our first long meditation session.

Week 3: Stress – Responding vs. Reacting

Learn to communicate more mindfully with yourself and others by understanding your responses to stress.

Week 4: Turning Toward Difficult Emotions

Explore how to acknowledge and manage difficult emotions or physical pain through meditation practices.

Week 5: Mindfulness and Compassion - Lovingkindness Meditation

Discover how to cultivate self-compassion and extend love to yourself and others through lovingkindness meditation.

Week 6: Maintaining Your Practice - Flashback and Flash Forward

Reflect on what you have learned throughout the course, review the practices, and discuss strategies for maintaining mindfulness in your daily life.

This course is valued at €350 but you can get it for free.

You just have to pay a €20 deposit fee to secure your spot that you get back once you finish the course😉.

SABRINA JAMMY

Mondays or Wednesdays at 18h00

Sabrina Jammy is a clinical psychologist and trainer at her own mental wellbeing collective called Maujha in Rotterdam. She holds dual degrees in Communication and Clinical Psychology and is currently also a guest lecturer at Erasmus University Rotterdam for the Faculty of Psychology. Sabrina combines Eastern and Western psychology to create the perfect blend of tools to teach people how to navigate the waves of their emotions and thoughts. She has been meditating for over 10 years and has been training others in mindfulness and stress management for five years. In her courses or workshops, you will learn scientifically proven tools to manage your thoughts and emotions constructively. Many have come before you, including employees from KPN, Innopay, BMW, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and more. Join her and experience it for yourself.
