Public Speaking and Media will be back in September 2021!

Our last cohort of the academic year is over, but don't be sad, we are coming back in September 2021 to start the new academic year 2021-2022 infused with media skills!

Charm the camera and go viral!

Public Speaking and Media is our advanced public speaking track with a specialization on media. The course helps you to explore the world of content creation (plan, deliver and edit your own content) and increase your confidence and expressiveness when speaking to the camera.
Week 1: Rhetorics & Scriptwriting

You'll meet your instructor, establish a comfortable group, goals and rules. You'll get introduced to different speech styles and rhetorical tools and how to apply them to your speech.

Week 2: Media Speech Analysis & Answering Questions

In this session, we will analyze different speeches to understand the do's and don'ts of a speech. You will also learn how to answer difficult questions.

Week 3: Speaking to the camera

Time to do some camera training. For this session we will prepare the script that you will record on the lab with a teleprompter.

Week 4: Podcast Training

Ever dreamed of having your own show? In this session, we will train your interviewing and participating skills to get you ready to lead your own podcast.

Week 5: Podcast shoot

Time to take the lead. You will experience how to record a 30-min podcast live and put your interviewing skills to test with a guest.

Week 6: Social Media Videos

Time to play with social media apps and the different types of video content we can create. It's also time to set a plan and publish your content.

Are you passionate about content creation?

New platforms, new types of content: endless possibilities. With the rise of websites like Youtube, and apps such as Spotify, Instagram or TikTok; we are living in an era when content creation is on our finger tips.

Our first cohort was completed by 5 participants, who gave an average rating of 9.2 overall course satisfaction.

I was put in the shoes of a professional interviewer, reporter, news anchor, podcast maker and even a public figure giving a speech. After those imaginative, fun and supportive sessions I feel like my uneasiness of talking to the camera completely vanished!

The era of content creators is here.

Your phone is your basic tool and free-pass into the world of content creation. Do you want to try something new and test the waters? Let's master camera training and media content creation together while we explore different formats such as social media videos, podcasts and develop those presenting and interviewing skills.
