LifeVersity (Division of ERBS B.V.) processes personal data and uses cookies for this website. In this Privacy Statement, we inform you about the purposes for which personal data are processed, how you can exercise your privacy rights and other information that may be important to you. LifeVersity handles personal data with care and acts within the limits of the law, including the Personal Data Protection Act (Wbp) and, after 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Responsible and Responsible

LifeVersity is the controller within the meaning of the Wbp and GDPR. LifeVersity considers it essential that the personal data of interested parties is handled and secured with the utmost care. We also want to be open about the way in which your data is processed by us. That is why we explain this below. The most important thing is that we comply with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act and GDPR in all cases.

For what purposes does LifeVersity process your personal data?

The personal data collected from you will be used by LifeVersity for the purposes of conducting its business. The main processes for which LifeVersity processes personal data are:

All processes in which personal data are processed are registered in a register of processing activities. LifeVersity thus has a complete and up-to-date overview of all data processing processes.

In the processes mentioned above, LifeVersity collects data from:

What personal data does LifeVersity collect?

  • Name

  • Organization

  • Email address

  • Interaction data (e.g. cookie or information received when you contact us)

  • Surfing and clicking behaviour

LifeVersity collects (personal) data directly from you, but in some cases the LifeVersity also receives personal data from third parties insofar as this is in accordance with the law.

Giving and withdrawing consent

LifeVersity offers a variety of activities that can only be performed by using your personal information. Think, for example, of your email address for sending a newsletter and promotional emails. Your data will only be used if you give explicit permission for this. You will always be informed for what purposes your data is used, which data it concerns and to whom it is provided. If you give LifeVersity permission to use personal data, you can always withdraw this permission at a later time.

How does LifeVersity ensure confidential handling of personal data?

LifeVersity treats personal data confidentially. LifeVersity takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that personal data is protected. LifeVersity only shares personal data in accordance with this Privacy Statement and only with third parties when this is permitted and done carefully.

Data sharing with third parties

On behalf of LifeVersity, third parties can provide certain parts of the service in the execution of an agreement. LifeVersity makes agreements with these processors to ensure confidential and careful handling of personal data. These agreements are contractually laid down in so-called 'processing agreements'

Your personal data will not be rented, sold or otherwise shared with or provided to third parties. LifeVersity can share your (personal) data with third parties if, for example, you have given permission for this yourself or if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement.

LifeVersity provides personal data to law enforcement authorities or anti-fraud organizations when necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

If you do not agree to the processing of your personal data where this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement, this may result in the performance of the agreement not being able to take place.

How long is data retained?

LifeVersity stores your personal data in accordance with the Wbp/GDPR. The data will not be kept longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected.

How can you access, correct or delete your data?

You can send a request for access or correction to LifeVersity. Please clearly indicate that it concerns a request for access or correction under the GDPR. You can also request that your data be deleted, but this is only possible insofar as LifeVersity can still comply with its legal obligations, such as the legal retention periods. Please note that providing a copy of proof of identity may be necessary to verify your identity. You can easily make a secure copy of your ID with the government's 'Copy ID' app that you can download from the app store.

You are also entitled to submit a complaint about the use of your data to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Technical security

In order to optimally protect your personal data against unauthorized access or use, LifeVersity applies appropriate security technology. We report (attempted) abuse. LifeVersity also takes organizational measures to protect personal data against access by unauthorized persons.
